Porky’s Bridge Rebuild

TMSC volunteers along with volunteers from the Kawartha ATV Association were hard at work during the latter part of September and the first two weeks of October.  The bridge on the Porcupine trail (TMSC# 420) was in dire need of repair.

The old decking was removed from the existing 50′ bridge, the centre support was rebuilt, and nine additional bridge stringers were added to bring the total up to twelve.  Once this work was completed, the bridge was redecked, and new railings were installed.  Volunteer hours on this project totalled over 500 hours.
