the Twin Mountains Snowmobile Club

Twin Mountains Snowmobile Club was founded in 1974, and joined the OFSC in 1975. TMSC maintains approximately 140 kilometres of groomed trails in Peterborough County, just east of Bobcaygeon, Ontario.

Our trails connect to the Kawartha Lakes Snowmobile Club trails to the west, Buckhorn District Snowmobile Club trails to the east, and Haliburton County Snowmobile Association trails to the north.

TMSC’s clubhouse and groomer shed are located at 889 Bass Lake Road.Β  This site allows for trail access and staging, and serves as an office, and a place for meetings and club events. Gates at the clubhouse are unlocked during the snowmobile season, and the clubhouse is open and heated when our trails are open.Β

TMSC currently operates one grooming unit and drag in order to provide riders with the smoothest trails possible.

It is with mixed emotions that TMSC bids a long standing volunteer and member of the Excecutive Team a farewell as Larry Hulsman retired at our most recent meeting. Larry had been dedicated for years to the Club, District 2 and Ontario Snowmobiling. He has been a driving force on trail improvements, maintenance and grooming. He will be missed by our club and so many others who have worked alongside him.
Join us in a heartfelt thankyou to Larry and best wishes as he steps back from the day to day operations at TMSC.
Thank you Larry for being a pillar of snowmobiling in Central Ontario. Enjoy a more relaxing time now and hope to see you enjoying the trails next year!!

Well I guess we all know by now....a disappointing and short season has come to an end officially. A huge thanks to our volunteers, landowners and sponsors!!!! We hope for a better result next year and El Nino takes a holiday for a decade or so!!! Even though it was a short season the volunteers still put in a ton of time to get some rideable trails. The landowners graciously giving us permission to enter their property and of course our sponsors and you who purchase permits. Without these groups we have nothing. Thanks everyone and see you next season!!! ... See MoreSee Less

Thanks for all you do. Much appreciated

Thanks for trying this year! I hope this is a one off!

Thanks again for all your hard work!! Next year will be better! πŸ’―

A big thank you to all of you! The couple of short rides we got in were amazing. πŸ‘

Thanks so much for all the hard work trying to get our trails open. Mother nature just wouldn't co operate.

Can’t control mother nature. Fingers crossed for a better winter next season. I will be buying my permit early again. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Thank you to all volunteers and land owners. Much appreciated. On a second note. The OFSC should consider rebating for next year trail pass cost. Maybe districts like ours may get a rebate because riding wasn’t available. Just a thought. I love snowmobiling, but to keep sport healthy and accessible for people this might have to happen.

Thank you for all you do! Heres to a better 2025 seasonπŸ‘πŸ€ž

I was only out twice. The trails were in remarkably good shape considering what they had to work with. Thank you for all your efforts.

We saw, and appreciated, seeing the Groomer multiple times today!! You are awesome and we all THANK YOU!! πŸ˜πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Thanks to all the volunteers for having the trails in good shape with what we have. We enjoyed the trails yesterday with neighbouring clubs still closed. Today TMSC trails appear on the ITG as closed, while Buckhorn is now open?? I don’t see any posts about closing the trails? Did we loose that much base last night?
